What to Expect at Worship

  • What's a service like?

We are a participative, liturgical worshiping congregation that likes a classical style of music, both older and modern. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week and we really like to sing!

  • What's the music like?

Our choir sings every Sunday. (They regularly welcome new members.) When the sanctuary fills in the summer time, expect this house to rock!

  • How do people dress?

Some men wear suits and ties while others wear bluejeans or even shorts in the summer. Women wear dresses, slacks, denim or whatever else they feel comfortable in. Kids dress like kids.

  • What about my kids?

Bring your kids! We include them with a children's sermon before the main message and encourage them to come forward with their families during our Lord's Supper for a blessing. We also have a cryroom in the back of the sanctuary that some parents like to use.

  • May I take communion?

Jesus expects us to come frequently to His Supper to receive His Body and Blood together with bread and wine. We commune in rememberance of Him as He told us to do.

  • Is Trinity accessible to the handicapped?

Inside our middle door is a lift so those who need it can reach the main floor inside. Bathrooms, too, are designed for use with wheelchairs.

  • Where do I park?

Arcadia is a walking community of about 36 blocks square with Trinity right in the middle. It takes about five minutes to walk to worship from any edge of the main town, a bit longer from Starke Point, the Cottage Colony or the homes along Lake Arcadia. Still, there is on-street parking around the church which those who park for the first summer service share with those coming to the second service.
