Today's reading: Luke 7
It's hard to read past verse 15: "And the dead man sat up and began to speak." Well, that's different! I love how matter-of-fact it all is. The report doesn't come with melodrama whatsoever: this is simply the new reality of life under Jesus' reign and rule. I desire to have such a default—Lord, grant it!
