Today's reading: Luke 10
The Word in today's chapter, which I so often return to, is in the last verse: "one thing is necessary." Like Martha, it's too easy for me to become anxious and troubled for many things, but the primary thing, what I need more than any thing, is to rest and receive from Jesus. Then, I'll be able to serve "with the strength that God provides" (1 Peter 4).
